Inspiration Quote #15:
“Whenever you are asked if you can do a job, tell them, “Certainly I can!” – and get busy and find out how to do it. – Theodore Roosevelt
No explanation is needed with this one…don’t you think?
Inspiration Quote #16:
“When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece.” – John Ruskin
Inspiration Quote #17:
“Think of yourself as on the threshold of unparalleled success. A whole clear, glorious life lies before you. Achieve! Achieve!” – Andrew Carnegie
Inspiration Quote #18:
“In all things we should try to make ourselves be as grateful as possible. For gratitude is a good thing for ourselves, in a manner in which justice, commonly held to belong to others, is not. Gratitude pays itself back in large measure.” – Seneca, Moral Letters
Inspiration Quote #19:
“It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.” – Franklin D Roosevelt

“Keep your fears to yourself, but share your courage with others.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
Inspiration Quote #21:
“Don’t let your reflection on the whole sweep of life crush you. Don’t fill your mind with all the bad things that might still happen. Stay focused on the present situation and ask yourself why it’s so unbearable and cannot be survived.” – Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
For me this means stay in today…the present!!! Don’t get lost in worry about what the future might be. Stay in the present and be aware of now.
Inspiration Quote #22:
“I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.” – Stephen Leacock
Inspiration Quote #23:
“The only place for success comes before work is in a dictionary.” – Vidal Sassoon
Inspiration Quote #24:
“Good people will do with they find honorable to do, even if it requires hard work; They’ll do it even if it causes them injury; they’ll do it even if it will bring danger. Again, they won’t do what they find base, even if it brings wealth, pleasure, or power. Nothing will deter them from what is honorable, and nothing will lure them into what is base” – Seneca, Moral Letters
Being a good person and doing what is considered “Good” requires an enormous amount of hard work. Don’t be afraid of doing what is difficult. Nobody said it was going to be easy. And if it was all easy, then everyone could do it.
Inspiration Quote #25:
“How does it help, to make misfortune heavier by complaining about it? This is more fit for a king – to seize adversities head on. The more precarious his situation, the more imminent his fall from power, the more firmly he should be resolved to stand and fight. It isn’t manly to retreat from fortune.” – Seneca, Oedipus
Here is a great story I read in Ryan Holiday’s book – The Daily Stoic. Its a technique that a Fortune 500 CEO uses to test a potential new hire. He takes them to breakfast and asks the manager of the restaurant to purposely screw up the candidate’s breakfast order. He’s testing to see how they react. Do they get upset? Do they act rudely? Do they allow this little screw-up to ruin the entire meeting? Do they handle the inconvenience with grace and kindness? Adversity is an amazing thing! And how you handle every minor adversity may seem like nothing to you, but it reveals an enormous amount about who you are as a human being!!!
Inspiration Quote #26:
“Opportunity often goes unrecognized because it wears overalls and often looks like work.” – Anonymous
Inspiration Quote #27:
“My grandfather once told me there are two kinds of people: Those who do the work and those who take the credit. He told me to try to be in the first group; there was much less competition there.” – Indira Gandhi
